JIMMY’S EQUIPMENT

Jimmy is always trying new things, searching for new sounds (or old ones). Basically he is a Fender Strat kind of guy. However, on the second album he used a Fender Telecaster. And on the third album he used a Harmony hollow body guitar as well as a Strat.

On the first album he mostly used a Traynor Mark III amplifier and a Fender Deluxe for a few songs. On the second album no amplifiers were used at all. The bass and the guitar were recorded through Gizmos. The guitars on the third album were recorded through a Koch Twintone.

Now Jimmy uses a Fender Twin or “the twin” as it is called. But basically his sound comes from the Yamaha Magic Stomp pedals, an Exotic BB pre amp and an Ibanez OC10.
